The Barcelona Accordion Chamber Orchestra (OCAB), conducted by Jesús Otero, will be giving L'Auditori's Christmas Concert, paying tribute to its founder, Pepita Sellés, on the 50th anniversary of her death. With a mix of classics and festive themes, the first part includes Sibelius' Sad Waltz and Brahms' moving Hungarian Dance No. 5 among other great classical pieces by Strauss, Sibelius and Enrique Granados. During the second part we will be able to enjoy the nostalgic Life is Beautiful by Piovani and the Aladdin Suite by Alan Menken among other pieces, all through the characteristic and unmistakable sound of multiple accordions.
